Staying in Yurts

Staying in a yurt is an extraordinary way to experience this undiscovered corner of Snowdonia. Two of these furnished, round canvas tents are now available for summer rent on our camp site. Inspired by Mongolian yurts, our yurt frames are home grown from ash trees on our own woodland. The domed yurts sit naturally in the landscape and are sited in a hidden glade of silver birches. Perfect for a romantic retreat or family adventure.

In high season we also have a beautiful, simply furnished bell tent available for rent which sleeps four people.

Yurt features:

  • wood-burning stove inside, camp fire outside
  • simple cooking facilities, utensils, cool box and fridge access
  • futon beds, rugs and floor cushions - bring your own bedding, pillows and towels or hire from us in advance
  • decking and outdoor seating area
  • showers and toilets nearby
  • for a five star yurt camping experience we can provide a hamper of Welsh produce or breakfast brought to your canvas door

Bring your torch and listen out for owls and other creatures of the night.
