Ty'r Adar (House of Birds)
Our holiday cottage in Snowdonia National Park offers spacious self catering accommodation for 4 - 6 people with a cosy log burner. We have decorated the house (formerly known as Mountain View) in a relaxed, contemporary style with big sofas and Welsh blankets from Trefriw Mills on the beds.
Ty'r Adar means "House of Birds". The feeder outside the window is always alive with finches, tits, siskins and many other birds - and there's something special about lying in bed and listening to the owls hooting outside. If you are looking for a comfortable place to unwind after a day on the hills or out and about then Ty'r Adar is a good choice.
"What a fab week. Flown by and there's so much to see and do in these wonderful surroundings. The cottage is lovely and the woodburner has proved a wonderful antidote to insomnia. Feeling relaxed and already planning our next trip." Frank & Judith
We also let out three other self catering lets at Graig Wen for our neighbours which are graded 4 star by Visit Wales and adjoin our guest house and camp site. Graig Wen is situated about 5 miles from Dolgellau, North Wales, on the Mawddach Estuary near Barmouth.
