Our touring camp site in Snowdonia National Park has direct access to the beautiful Mawddach Estuary and Mawddach Trail. Graig Wen features in the Cool Camping guide to exceptional camp sites and is recommended by Time Out and The Rough Guide to camp sites. We are proud to have won the North Wales Tourism Award for Best Camp Site and a Green Snowdonia Award for Most Sustainable Camp Site. We also have yurts and a Shepherd’s Hut for hire. Dogs on leads are welcome, making it a great pet friendly accommodation in Snowdonia.
Our peaceful camping site has two areas – choose which will suit you best or call us to ask. You can see a simple site plan here. Please note there is no access to the lower tent camping fields for camper vans, caravans or trailer tents as the track is too steep.
We are now taking new bookings for self contained touring caravans or motorhomes with their own on board kitchen and bathroom facilities only from 15 July – 24 July inclusive. The drinking water tap and chemical loo disposal point will be open but no other shared facilities at present.
We are taking bookings online only now from 25 July for tent camping and camper vans without onboard facilities Shared facilities will open on 25 July if the Wales Government confirms. Sorry, no group bookings this year.
