Our self catering holiday cottages, glamping and camping accommodation in Snowdonia National Park, near Barmouth and Dolgellau, North Wales are in an exceptional location. Overlooking the Mawddach Estuary, one of the most beautiful in Wales, the views are breathtaking. Walk down our (steepish) track straight onto the scenic Mawddach cycle Trail. The mountains are all around, with sandy beaches, castles, steam trains, zip lines and bike trails close by. Whether you prefer a cottage, cosy yurt, beautifully crafted shepherd’s hut or camping under the stars, Graig Wen offers families, couples and solo explorers a range of quirky and quality accommodation.
Our cottages and glamping accommodation are now open to book online from 13 July under our flexible booking policy.
We are also taking new bookings for self contained touring caravans or motorhomes with their own on board kitchen and bathroom facilities only from 15 July. The drinking water tap and chemical loo disposal point will be open but no other shared facilities at present.
From 25 July, we hope to open shared facilities and welcome tent campers and camper vans without on board facilities if permitted by the Welsh Government. Online booking open now. Sorry, no groups.
Our small, tranquil camp site has direct access to the beautiful Mawddach Estuary and cycle trail. There’s a sheltered area with electric hook ups for 10 vans or smaller tents near the showers and our holiday cottages. If you really want to get away from it all, go wild and pitch your tent down near the estuary to star gaze around a camp fire. Dogs on leads welcome.
For family glamping adventures and romantic retreats you can hideaway in one of our four pet friendly yurts, new Shepherd’s Hut or simple bell tent. You’ll be blown away by the views, scenery and seclusion…but have a bit of comfort too!
Choose from four adjacent holiday lets that formed part of a traditional Victorian slate cutting shed. The spacious two bedroom houses provide quality accommodation for 2 – 6 people. We’re in a fabulous location for walkers, cyclists, photographers, bird-watchers and families looking for fun and adventures in Snowdonia National Park.
