We’re excited to hear we are finalists in the prestigious Go North Wales Tourism Awards.  Graig Wen has been shortlisted in the Go Caravan, Camping or Glamping of the Year category, sponsored by Harlech Food Service.

“This category recognises excellence in caravan or holiday parks that offer cabin and tenting accommodation who can demonstrate what they have done to provide a truly memorable visitor experience.” says Go North Wales.  Judges look at elements including use of innovation, benefits brought to the local community, sustainability, accolades, quality and making all visitors feel valued.

We’re proud of the progress of our business and honoured to be shortlisted. During the pandemic, we’ve adapted by introducing new products and services. We feel privileged that our guests continue to place their trust in us.  It’s truly wonderful to watch them relax and embrace all that South Snowdonia has to offer. Improvements we’ve made include using technology to make it easy for our campers to explore less popular parts of the National Park safely and sustainably; as well as to pre-book dinner tables and activities. We’ve also developed warm and snug glamping accommodation to attract adventurers outside of peak season. We hope this will benefit our local area at quieter times of year as well as give visitors special memories of the great outdoors to take home.

Back in 2016 at the first Go North Wales Awards, we were over the moon that Graig Wen won the Go Caravan, Camping, Glamping Award. We entered again this year as we’ve had such amazing support from our guests and our team has worked so hard to give holidaymakers an exceptional experience.  The awards are an excellent showcase of the amazing tourism and hospitality businesses in North Wales and we’re really delighted to be finalists again  in 2021. We look forward to joining the celebrations – after the last couple of challenging seasons, the way we see it, we’re all winners to be here!

The winners will be announced at a celebration at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on November 25th 2021. Wish us luck!
