We’re pleased to be teaming up with Dolgellau based no-mad running and Carvetii Coffee, a business with local roots, to host a morning on the camp site with great coffee followed by a sociable run.
Here’s what no-mad running say about the event:
“We love running. We love being outdoors. We love good coffee. We love sharing all three.
So, with our good friends at Carvetii Coffee we’re wanting to show you how easy it is to make high quality coffee, with an Aeropress, outdoors. ‘Outdoors’ is at Graig Wen nestled under Cader Idris on the banks of the mighty Mawddach Estuary, with amazing views over to Diffwys and the end of the Rhinog.
We’re passionate about running off-road, Carvetii bring passion to coffee at the same level.
Whilst Jetboil stoves make hot water quickly and easily, we love the smell of woodsmoke and the opportunity to chat that a Kelly Kettle offers. Carvetii Coffee will be showing you how to make their delicious coffee, whilst we at no-mad running will be making the hot water, and helping drink the coffee.”
The views were fantastic, even in bad weather. There was a lovely wood to walk through and then you could walk along the esturary. It was nice to have the use of a microwave and also a small quantity of goods for sale. You could catch a bus at the entrance to the site taking you either into the local town or the beach.
