WALKS & RIDES

Walks and Rides around Snowdonia

You can do flat walks, scenic hikes or mountain scrambles from our door step. Whether your idea of a walk is a stroll along the sand or a day out in the hills, we can advise on wonderfully scenic walks for all abilities and all weathers.

The same goes for cycling – you can get straight onto the flat Mawddach cycle trail from our fields (although it’s a steep push back up!) and we’ve got some of the most famous single track mountain bike trails in the world 15 minutes drive away at Coed y Brenin and scenic view on the Barmouth cycle trail. There’s some fabulous road cycling to be done on quiet lanes in the hills surrounding the estuary – the perfect Snowdonia cycling holiday with some epic climbs and descents if you want them!

John and Sarah are keen walkers and cyclists and we’re really happy to share some of our favourite routes with you. OS maps of the area are available for sale from reception.
