We re-open on Monday 9th November following the Welsh “firebreak”, for people who are not subject to travel restrictions. We look forward to welcoming visitors from the rest of the UK soon, we hope.

Choose from our snug shepherd’s hut, Idris yurt or holiday cottages.  Ty’r Adar cottage has a woodburner for cosy evenings after a day exploring Snowdonia National Park.

We have a handful of pitches available for camper vans or smaller motorhomes.  All pitches are hand standing with optional electric hook up.  Our shared washing facilities with loos, washbasins and hot showers are open.

Our fantastic location on the Mawddach Estuary has incredible views and is right by the Mawddach Trail.  You can walk or cycle the wonderfully scenic traffic free route to the beach over Barmouth’s iconic bridge.  Cader Idris is close by for mountain walks or you can wander to Arthog waterfalls.

Local pubs, cafes, restaurants and takeaways will be open  – how about the best pizza this side of Naples from the Mawddach Pizzeria and a pint of Snowdonia ale in one of Dolgellau’s cosy pubs? Independent shops in Barmouth and Dolgellau will warmly welcome you and your business. There’s some lovely little gift shops for some light Christmas shopping…

So if you are not locked down, make the most of the Snowdonia mountains and Welsh coast from Monday 9th November 2020.
